Acceptable stay, some drawbacks
walk-in shower friendly staff room upgrade in-room water
the room was clean upon arrival. a spacious walk-in shower featured in the bathroom.. i also found the staff to be friendly and available.
i was disappointed with a couple of things . i was not offered a complimentary upgrade, as per the elite member promise. also, there was no water in the room.

helpful staff rooftop bar clean room lacking variety small portions odd smell
the staff was lovely. the rooftop bar is a gem. it provides helpful service. the room was super clean. it had a fresh look.
the fine and dine restaurant menu is lacking in variety. there aren't good options for children. portions also aren't quite enough for what you pay! i also noticed an odd smell one time.

overwhelmed staff complimentary water
The staff seemed a LITTLE overwhelmed. It was hard to get their attention at times, and they seemed stretched thin! Hopefully, they can get more staff or improve training SOON. I found it ODD that there was no complimentary water in the room. I thought that was standard these days. I HAD to pay for a bottle.

The spacious room was very clean. Breakfast offered a good variety. The staff members were really helpful with directions.
The gym was a bit small, it only had a limited amount of equipment.

Really good Stay with Lovely Views
quiet room rooftop bar useful restaurant free parking
I found the location ideal. My room was surprisingly quiet given the proximity to the motorway. The rooftop bar and restaurant were a highlight, and I particularly enjoyed the cocktails, so lovely! The staff members were polite and helpful, and it was useful having the restaurant on site. Free parking.
The bathroom wall had frosted glass. You could see shapes through it when the lights were on. That was not the most private.

The room was a good size with a large television. Variable air conditioning or heating ensured comfort. A fridge was available. The bed was extra large and comfortable, ensuring a good night's rest, and that was good.

I found it easy to locate the hotel, being conveniently placed off the M5. The top floor restaurant and terrace were attractive, offering lots of seating areas. The views were expansive. The modern decor in the hotel was also beautifully maintained.

Breakfast on the top of the hotel offered an amazing view. The top floor restaurant provided views to the English countryside and some really tasty food. The service in the restaurant was very good.
